REALTOR® day at the Capitol will take place April 11th. Currently there are over 3000 bills being introduced in the capital during this legislative session. This is a way we as REALTORS® can make our voices heard for bills supporting homeownership and property rights. I would love to see a strong turnout from MVAR seeing as this in our own backyard. HAPPY APRIL! Chapter 4 of 12
The MVAR Community Foundation Board has been busy planning our first ever Community Foundation Golf Tournament as well as other fundraising opportunities for the year.
The Golf Tournament will be held on August 17th at McNary Golf Course! We are looking for event sponsors as well as golf participants! If you or anyone you know are interested in becoming a sponsor or playing in the tournament, please reach out. This is going to be an exciting event! We would also invite any volunteers to help with this fundraiser. We will also have an opportunity for those who don’t want to golf to attend the dinner that evening following the tournament! |

As you may already know, we raise funds throughout the year so our Community Foundation has the opportunity to grant funds to local nonprofits as well as to fund the MVAR Children’s Christmas Party. We are always looking for ways to give back to our community. If you are aware of any local non-profits that are in need of funds, please send them our way to have them complete a grant application!
We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you and your incredible support to the MVAR Community Foundation and community as a whole!

MVAR Newsletter - April 2023 Warm weather is right around the corner (fingers crossed!) and MVAR Community Foundation and MVAR Events Committee have some fantastic events up ahead. The MVAR Membership BBQ will be held on July 13th at Pringle Park and the first annual Community Foundation Golf Tournament Fundraiser is on August 17th at McNary Golf Club. Golf teams and sponsorship opportunities are filling fast so be sure to register soon!
