General Membership Meeting: Business Climate and Homebuilding Update

Join us for a breakfast buffet at Creekside Golf Course on Thursday, November 13th.

We will kick things off with Tom Hoffert, CEO/President of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, who will provide an outlook on the state of the business environment in the Greater Salem area. Expect insights on what to watch as we move toward 2026.

Next, Ian Levin, President of the Oregon/SW Washington Chapter of CCIM, will share expert analysis on commercial real estate development trends - plus highlight CCIM’s partnership with MVAR as we head into the 2025–26 fiscal year.

Finally, Mike Erdmann, CEO of the Oregon Home Builders Association of Marion & Polk Counties, will take a deeper dive into the current landscape of homebuilding, and what it all means for inventory and affordability in our market.
