HB 3136: Planning Commission Changes (Oregon REALTORS®)

Description
HB 3136 – Membership on local planning commissions had previously called out real estate professions and assumed the professions were inevitably corrupt or conflicted, limiting the influence that real estate professions could have on local land use planning. The rule mandating a unique restriction on real estate professions has been removed, allowing real estate professionals to partake in local planning the same as any other Oregonian. In this training, we will discuss what a planning commission is, what it does, and how it impacts the city and land usage in the city.
